Dengue virus (DENV) infection can cause mild dengue fever (DF) or severe dengue hemorrhage fever (DHF) and dengue shock syndrome (DSS). Most patients with DF could recover by itself; however, still some cases or re-infected patients might carry severe symptoms. In our lab, we are interested in the pathogenesis of DENV-induced hemorrhage and auto-immunity. By using phage-displayed antibody library and hybridoma technology, we found several DENV monoclonal antibodies which can cross-react with coagulatory factors. Welcome to join us to study their pathogenic roles in DHF/DSS. |
